Dr Danger Stunts has officially announced that the entertainer known as Dr Danger, Star and co-creator of History Channel’s “American Daredevils”, has severed his previous business arrangement with stunt collaborator Nikki McBurnett, aka Mighty Aphrodite.

Mighty Aphrodite, professionally trained by Dr Danger as an amazing daredevil femme fatale’, one of only a handful of female daredevils in the entire world, is after a seven year partnership, quotes Danger, “ready to take control of her own career and I support her decision to do so 169%.”

The seven years was said to be by ‘The Girl’ – as Danger often refers to McBurnett, “a whirl wind adventure of reckless abandoned.” McBurnett mentioned many hard miles on the “long ass reckless Danger Highway, crashing and burning our way across America. I’ll miss working with Danger, but he’s taught me well. It’s time to make my own mark in this industry.”

Dr Danger, star and co-producer of the History Channel’s series, “American Daredevils,” returns to Jackson County Speedway in Maquoketa, Iowa, August 30, 2014, just over a year after a spectacular stunt went wrong, nearly ending his life.

“It’s the cost of doing business. And my business is danger,” said the lanky, charismatic daredevil, also known as Gregory E. Carpenter. “This will be my first stunt since I broke my back and ankle here last July. The people in Iowa are the best, and I can’t think of a better place to get back in the saddle.”

Last year’s stunt, jumping an ambulance off a 12ft ramp into a 50ft silo standing on its end, was featured on “American Daredevils.”

As he starts his 25th anniversary “Too Tough To Die Tour” as a professional stuntman, daredevil, and master of fire stunts that never fail to bring the crowd to its feet, Dr Danger is eager to get back to doing what he does best – entertaining his legion of fans and giving them a spectacular show they will be talking about for months to come.

“It’s been a tough recuperation, but the hardest part has been not being able to entertain. This is what I do, and I can’t wait to do it again!” says Carpenter, who, over the years, has worked as a dishwasher, mechanic, tow truck driver, and other odd jobs between stunt seasons just to make ends meet. “I’ve put it all on the line to hear the applause of the people in the stands and send them home with a proper dose of good old-fashioned American entertainment.”

“I am an entertainer,” he says, “Now I get to show my fans in Iowa what this daredevil is really made of. You don’t quit. You follow your dreams, no matter where they may lead.” Carpenter’s dreams have led him around the United States and to several countries, where his television show remains a huge hit.

Dr Danger’s stunts have been featured at small and large venues and events across the country and abroad for 24 years. His work has been featured in National Geographic, MTV’s Nitro Circus, CBS Sunday Morning, Fuel TV and more. Each show is custom- made for the venue and features performances ranging from fire stunts to massive multi-car crashes.

WELCOME October 16 2013

A Message From Dr Danger

I have been doing daredevil stunts for a long time. It has always been a challenge to live in a part time daredevil world and try to keep a real job too. In 2006, I decided to pack up my $200 Suburban and hit the road for points unknown; no looking back, head straight on into what it was that awaited me out there on the big ole lonesome road. I knew I was going to cross paths with my future out there, whatever it was.

It was one show to the next from that point on: arrive in Podunk USA, crash and burn, try to stay out of the hospital, then get to the next show.

In October of 2008, I was doing a show in Wichita Falls, Texas that pretty much changed my life. I won’t go into the complicated details of how it all happened and quite frankly almost did not happen. I will cut to the chase and introduce two of the best friends a man could ask for.

Kelly Lipscomb and Matt Tisdale from a little company named Widespread Creative. We hit the road to create our own TV show about daredevils on the road. Fast forward to lucky number 2013, five years later and we have done the impossible. We created and produced a TV reality show and placed it with one of the top Networks in the country.

Now here we are just ONE day from the premiere of American Daredevils! My wildest dreams are coming true. 16 episodes in the can, ready to hopefully take America by storm. I am a happy man; still alive and breathing, which some may say is a miracle in itself, and a brave new world lay before me. On with the show!
